應用文寫作方法指導

高等學校英語應用能力考試寫作部分除了翻譯(英譯漢、漢譯英)以外,主要考察考生套寫應用性短文的能力。應用文的寫作包括書信、公函、契約、合同、通知、海報、請柬、備忘錄、電子郵件、便條、個人履歷等。

應用文的語言、格式根據不同的內容、目的和要求有所不同。應用文的一個鮮明的特點就是語言精煉、文字準確。它有基本固定的格式。在撰寫應用文時,應注意各種不同文體在格式和語言上的要求。

1) 書信(letter).

英文書信一般包括下面幾個部分:

書信的格式是最基本的格式,許多其他的應用文格式都是以書信為基礎。

1. 寫信人的地址,寫信日期,寫在右上角。(有時包括收信人的地址)

2.稱呼。

3. 正文。

4. 結束語。

5. 署名。

Sample1 er of Thanks (感謝信)

在接受了別人的幫助、款待,或接受了別人的幫助之後,應及時寫一封感謝信表達自己的謝意。感謝信用詞要真誠、簡要,不要太過誇大其詞。

Sample2letter of Apology (道歉信)

由於各種原因給別人造成不便、遺憾或損失及傷害時,應該寫一封通道歉信表示歉意。在信的開頭,應先道歉,在解釋原因。道歉的用詞要誠懇、所說的原因要讓人信服、易於讓人接受。

信內地址的寫法

1. 寫信人的地址在右上角。

2. 收信人的地址在左邊稱呼的上面。

3. 日期寫在寫信人的地址下端。

2) 通知與海報(Notice and poster)

通知與海報主要用於公佈活動資訊、重要活動的時間、地點等的安排;因此,其語言應簡潔、明確、清晰,寫作格式也可靈活多樣。通知、海報一般由標題、正文、落款等組成。標題一般都是notice和 poster或是announcement,也可根據具體不同的內容來定。正文中要用比較清楚的語言說明活動的內容、時間、地點、注意事項等。正文後是落款,包括出通知與海報的部門和日期。

3)電子郵件(E-mail)

電子郵件的格式如下:

1. “To” : 收郵件的部門或個人。

2. “From”: 發郵件的部門或個人。

3. “Date” : 發郵件的如期。

4. “Subject”: 主題

4)備忘錄 (Memo)

作為一種非正式的公文形式,備忘錄是在單位內部為發放通知、聯絡工作、管理有關工

作人員或下級部門對上級部門所使用的一種簡短書面交流形式。備忘錄的主要目的是針對某一事情提醒、監督、通知本單位內部的相關人員。

備忘錄的格式一般採用以下形式:

1. 上端的中間寫上標題“Memorandum” or “Memo”

2. “To” : 收閱人的姓名或者職務,可以免除頭銜和稱謂。

3. “From” :寫發文人的姓名。一般情況下可以免寫職務,免稱謂。

4. “Date”: 日期,寫在信箋的右上角或左邊排列當中。

5. “Subject”(主題) :用簡短的語言對備忘錄的內容進行概括。

6. “Body” (正文): 備忘錄可以免稱呼,免客套用語。語言簡潔明瞭,篇幅短小精悍,

常用非正式用語。

7. “Reference Initials” ( 經手人代號或姓名縮寫):撰寫人姓名首字母,如 “JM” 等。

5) 便條 (Note)

便條的寫作比較簡單,只需要把事情說明白即可,要注意以下幾點內容。

1. 必須寫有收條人的稱謂,熟悉的人之間可以省去“dear”.

2. 必須包括留條人的姓名,可以省去 “sincerely yours”等。

3. 必須包括留便條的日期,可以省去年份。
